Virtual Visit Assessment

This is a web-interactive version of a site visit by a trained professional. It is no subsititute for an on-site visit. But given essential facts and value of parameters are obtained, including some recorded readouts from power meter, or the inverter, a valid (prima faci) assessment may be obtained. A check list actually used in a VV, where no physical/electrical contact, nor roof-climing will be performed, or recommended. Only visual observation and document access by the client will be use d during the Virtual Visit.

 

The following steps are delineated to initiate and complete the Virtual Visit analytic process:

 
  1. Fact Gathering: Client gathers and electrical utility bills and contract and specification & datasheet documents related to the project.
  2. Registration: Client regiester as a PVwizard user and ebter or verify entries made about the site parameters for the PV Performance Benchmark calculator.
  3. Site CheckList: Client is asked to complete, to the best of his understanding and ability, the SiteVisit checklist and signs off the entry and disclaimer form. Note the accuracy and validity of the PVwizard analytics and only as good as the quality and completeness of parameter values assimilated and submitted. A range of confidence level dependent on accuracy of key entries, measurement device, and estimate of Sun's irradiance and cell temperature are the key elements of our analytics.
  4. Payment: Client click the 'VirtualVisit' PayPal button and execute the payment with Paypal, a secure procedure at the Paypal site.
  5. PVwizard, a Wattminder, Inc. branded services corporation, will deliver the VVAssessment report, after a quality check by a trained professional within hours, depending on the time of day of the Paypal processing, AND sufficiency of the assimilated data. When a doubtful condition is detected, we will contact the Client to clarify or resolve the issue, and may refund the Paypal payment, fully or partially, if we deem little value in the completed VVA.
